Values - Don't Panic

I placed in my actual body text rather than placeholder text. One point was made about the mixture of black and white imagery and colour photos. So i made it so that every image was greyscale. The only photos that will be full colour will be those of the models in the t-shirts and the full set photograph featured at the back of the book.

Sleaze Book

I redesigned my book that will come with the t-shirts and stickers.

Some small photos here. I'm going to make some tweeks based upon the comments from the typographers in the studio.

I started off with a quick layout of my contents page. The actual information within the book i kept from my previous attempt.

Don't Panic

My t-shirts took abit of a tumble as i was unable to print on friday. Still got plenty of time until i start tearing my hair out.

Anyway i decided to run a few quick one day don't panic briefs along side the t-shirts and the bollocks to poverty brief i'm going to do.

This first one is the latest don't panic poster brief around values. I was toying with the idea of marriage and the values you uphold when getting married, then realised i had no interest in marriage whatsoever. for now anyway.

I went with the idea of stuff i value and what i would go that extra mile for.

Crit

I need to work on my layouts for the zine.




Size? I need to rethink over the layouts for my zine. The size is too small. I need to work out a suitable grid. Again a crit with joe, brought to my attention the unsuitability of my booklet for my t-shirts. Another question raised was the aesthetic of a the whole fanzine appropriate to the actual functionality - the answer no. I was designing the booklet as a collectable that came with each tee.

I made my screens. Coated them...

i exposed my screen today and left it to dry

wash it off and leave it in the drying room

Sadly one screen didn't take so i had to strip it again. coating it tomorrow

Crit Rejection

I started doing these quick humour designs for action aid thinking it was an interesting take on the word bollocks was rejected. A cop out and that the word bollocks was too interesting to replace with other terms such as plums, balls, niagra falls.
