So i started working on a series of prints around the idea of been happy and joyful. I thought of Singing in the Rain for some reason and how the whole rain drops could be changed to oil drops. ALOT OF PEOPLE THINK THE IRAQ WAR WAS OVER CONTROLLING OF OIL RESOURCES.
I replaced Gene Kelly's face with Tony Blairs.
I definitely want the yellow in there for the light but not too sure about the pink
This is where i am at so far. But looking at my design sheets i think i want the bomb and oil rain drops????After my crit with Joe i decided i need to rethink the imagery and for it to have more impact as i said i was drawing inspiration from Jamie Reid and John Heartfield (see design context blog)
