Dan Mumford

Over the weekend i was inspired by Dan Mumford artwork with the intricacies of his line work to create my own patterns around the four elements.

Design Update 1

Earth and Fire are easily associated with The Thing and Human Torch. However the link between water and wind with Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Women is less obvious.

i'm exploring two ideas now. focusing still on illustration. working with the fantastic four gave me the idea of doing other characters that are associated with the four elements. The associations are on the image below.

I'd been working up The Things vector bottle and it didnt look as good as when produced by hand. I also halftoned it as i mentioned earlier to create the comic book affect.

Bottles

After the ready-to-wear edition of the bottle in 2009, designed by Jean-Paul Gaultier, Evian works with Baccarat to create five exclusive limited edition bottles. Five unique bottles dressed transparently to evoke Evian’s best asset: purity.

colette will present them from March 16th to 21st and at Maison Baccarat March 24th to 30th before being auctioned next April 7th at 8pm at Artcurial, to raise money for the RAMSAR convention, which Evian supports for more than 10 years.

i wish i could produce something like that for this module. It would be cool to produce fantastic four glass bottles. i could try and photoshop it. ???? it would also work well for the water based design poster

F4: Game

The Color of Love

For some folks the color of love is
Red ... fiery and hot,
For others the color is
Blue ... placid and calm,
For some it's
Yellow... caring but cautious,
For others it's
Orange ... rich and fruitful,
For some the color is
Lavender... gentle and kind,
For others it's
Purple... sacrificing and giving,
For some it's
Green ... with its go, go, go,
For others the color is
White ... pure and undefiled.
But for me the color is
Rainbow ... Red and Blue,
Yellow and Orange,
Lavender and Purple,
Green and White.
The Rainbow painted by God
is a symbol of forever-love,
And as long as there is
sunshine and rain
there will always be Rainbows,
And as long as there are Rainbows
there will always be
forever-love for you.

Chillin like Bob Dylan

i love the psychedelic posters from the 1960's, however Blood on the Tracks is from a different era. I have to reflect the feel, tone of the song. Both are very different songs. maria is singing about been in love; whereas dylan is singing about a lost love and how he has regrets about how things ended.

they reflect different points of views from different sexes. i think i'm gunna use colour and little imagery to answer this brief.
